Christina Dougherty LCSW
Owner, Clinical Director, Psychotherapist

Christina is the owner, clinical director, as well as a clinician at the Center for Psychotherapy. Bringing twenty five years of experience in the fields of mental health, substance abuse, social services, and child welfare, she is licensed in Pennsylvania and Florida to evaluate and treat psychiatric, psychological, social and cultural problems. Christina specializes in individual therapy for adolescents, adults, and seniors, as well as couples and family counseling. She received her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree 2002 and graduated magna cum laude with BA in clinical psychology 1999.  Christina is trained in psychoanalytic theory, CBT, motivational and transpersonal theory, mindfulness/Buddhist theory, 12-step facilitation, spiritual counseling, and energy psychology. She has experience treating depression, bipolar, trauma/PTSD, anxiety disorders, OCD, adjustment issues, geriatric issues, LGBTQ, substance use disorders, eating disorders, gambling addiction, ACOA/codependency, dual diagnosis, schizophrenia, dissociative disorders, and family/relational/cultural/employment problems. Her office hours are Monday through Wednesday from 9am to 7pm, Thursday and Friday 9am to 5pm.

 

Matthew McGahran LCSW
Clinical Social Worker, Psychotherapist

Matthew McGahran LCSW has more than twenty years of experience working in the fields of mental health, substance abuse, social services, and child welfare. He received his Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Matthew specializes in couples and family counseling and individual therapy for older children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. He is licensed in Pennsylvania and Florida to evaluate and treat psychiatric, psychological, social and adjustment problems.

Matthew is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), motivational interviewing, transpersonal therapy, 12-step facilitation, family therapy, couples counseling, and client-centered therapy. He specializes in stress/mood management, anger management, preventing interpersonal violence, and has served as a batterer’s interventionist. He is also trained as a certified mediator.  Matthew also has extensive experience in treating depression, bipolar disorder, posttraumatic stress/trauma, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, substance use disorders and behavioral addictions, dual diagnosis, and parenting issues. Matthew has scheduled office hours Monday through Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm and Saturdays 9am to 1pm.

 

Tracy

Tracy Harmon Griffith DSW, LCSW
Clinical Social Worker, Psychotherapist

Dr Tracy Griffith LCSW has over 20 years of experience in clinical social work practice in outpatient and hospital settings.  He is licensed in Pennsylvania and Arkansas to evaluate and treat patients with psychosocial problems. Tracy provides individual psychotherapy for adults and seniors. He received his Master of Social Service degree from Bryn Mawr College and a Doctor of Social Work degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Clinical Social Work. He also has training and education in the field of Gerontology. He is trained in psychodynamic, CBT, motivational and solution focused therapies. He specializes in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, adjustment and transition, aging, LGBTQ, and substance disorders.   Tracy is accepting new clients for evening hours Tuesday through Thursday 5 to 7pm and Saturday 9 to 1pm.
