Clinicians are not always immediately available by telephone. When we are unavailable, our telephone will be answered by voicemail. Please leave a message with your identifying information, which clinician you are attempting to reach, and a brief reason for your call. If you are unable to reach us in the event of an emergency and feel that you cannot wait for us to return your phone call, call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room and ask for mental health services. The number of the on-call clinician will be stated on the voicemail, which can be used in the event of a life-threatening emergency, but there may be a short time lapse before the on-call clinician can return your call, and so above procedures are in place.
Our clinicians are happy to offer the convenience of email and we actually prefer that clients send emails to the main address listed above for new inquiries and/or scheduling purposes (we spend most of our office time with clients and often respond to you between clients or while out of the office; therefore email is the fastest and most efficient). When email is used for administrative matters (such as scheduling, billing questions, or for communication that doesn’t require a response) no fee is charged. If a patient uses email to ask a care-related question that requires the clinician’s time and clinical expertise, the client may be directed to wait for the next scheduled appointment or an email consultation fee may be billed to the insurance and/or client. Please use the main email address above; each clinician may share their own email with clients on a case by case basis.
